The Best Monthly Beauty Box: Boxycharm

Monthly subscriptions are seriously the best idea ever because it’s like receiving a gift from yourself every month. Who doesn’t like receiving gifts? It is so important to treat yourself and have something to look forward to every month. Being subscribed to the best monthly box is so important because there are so many out there these days that are not very good or worth the money. That is why I love Boxycharm! It’s a monthly beauty box with four to five FULL SIZE products for only $21 a month. That’s an incredible deal! I can honestly say that I love about 90% of the products are received and course there has been some products that I’m not particularly fond of but that’s bound to happen.

The theme of August’s box was “Beach Please” and it was packed with some pretty incredible products.

The first product is the Moda Pro, 3-Piece Brush set that includes a pointed blush brush, an angled chisel brush, and a crease brush. I’m always super excited to receive brushes in my box because they can be pricey and I would hate to spend full price on a brush and not like them. These brushes are so soft and fluffy. I know I’m going to use the pointed blush brush and the crease brush daily, and I’m excited to try out the chisel brush because I’ve never ever tried anything like it before. This brush set retails for $26.

The next item that I received is the Face Paint by the brand Aloette that doubles as both a lip and cheek color. I really love the color and I think it will go well with many skin tones as well. I personally like this more as a lip product than a cheek product because I have oily skin but I’m going to give it a try and I hope it will prove me wrong! This product retails for $35.

Here’s how it looks swatched on my arm and applied to my lips.

I am forever looking for the best eyeliner on the market because I feel like eyeliners never stay on me because I blink so much. I am pretty excited to have received the Waterproof Gel Eyeliner by Bellapierre. It looks like it will be a great product and the fact that it is waterproof gives me hope that it will be great for me! This eyeliner retails for $15.

This is the first time that I have received eyelashes in my box and I have been subscribed to Boxycharm for at least two years. So this was so exciting to receive! Ya gotta always have a pair of lashes in your makeup collection! They can make any look go from normal to glam and what’s not to love about that? These PUR 3D lashes are so stunning and feel so soft. These beauties retail for $14.

IMG_4436This last item is my favorite item in the entire box and I was so excited when I found out that I was receiving this item in my box. This is the Tarte (YES, TARTE!) Rainforest of the Sea: Volume II eye shadow palette. I admit that I have never even seen the Volume I palette, but it’s by Tarte!

IMG_4434 First off, the packaging is super cute and durable with a large mirror. Packaging is so important! I love how the colors are neutral so it is perfect for everyday wear. I’ve used this palette almost everyday since I received it and I can’t get enough of it. There is absolutely no fall out whatsoever and that’s incredible because I do my makeup on my bed with my white bedding and I hate getting eyeshadow on it. This palette retails for $36.

So as you can see Boxycharm is well worth the $21/month because if you were to purchase all these products separately, they would have cost you $126. That’s some huge savings! Check this subscription out and you won’t regret signing up!
